Russian Foreign Minister yesterday held a conversation through the telephone with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
The parties confirmed the mutual accordance to consolidate and develop the strategic partnership between Russia and Serbia.
Lavrov said Russia shares its concerns on the politicized decision of the Appeals Court in France, which imposed the acquittal of Ramush Haradinaj, former Kosovo Prime Minister which was arrested for war crimes, issued by Serbia.
“We believe that all the Kosovar politicians involved in war crimes should be responsible, regardless of their current positions,”- Lavrov said.
He even said that there is a project for Greater Albania, thus posing a threat to the Balkans.
These comments come after Albanians Prime Minister Edi Rama and Kosovian president Hashim Thaci who declared that if EU union closes the doors for these two countries they will go for a national unification, statements that resulted to be provocative to the Serbs.
