Following the formalization of SP-DP agreement, opposition decided to close the “tent of freedom”.
After 3 months of protests held in front of the Prime Ministry, protesting to get guarantees for free and fair elections, the opposition is moving out of the tents and launching an elections campaign throughout Albania.
Opposition leader Lulzim Basha held a victory speech for all the citizens which protested for more than 90 days saying that the citizen’s resistance was ended with the removal of the half of the government as a guarantee for free and fair elections on June 25.
Albanian opposition started the protest in February 2017 requiring for a caretaker government which according to Basha is the only way to guarantee free and fair elections.
