In order to increase the number of tourists in our country, the government is applying seductive policies to some countries.
At a time when Russia-Turkey relations continue to remain fragile and not very friendly, and considering that Turkey absorbs more than 60% of Russian tourists, the Albanian government has decided to lift visas for Russian citizens for the period May 31 – November 15 2017, making Russians tourists turning their attention to Albanian Riviera.
This decision was taken after the proposal made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Internal Affairs, with the suggestion of the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship on Tourism Issues.
According to this decision, Russian citizens have the right to enter the Republic of Albania only equipped with a visa-free passport.
