Prime Minister Edi Rama in his weekly communication spoke about the elections in Kavaja and the opposition’s decision to boycott the elections.
He said that although the opposition has confirmed its boycott, the elections will take place on June 18.
“Soon, we will go to June 18 without the Democratic Party.
On June 18 we will not forget anything. On June 18, we invite every reasonable democrat to work for a better state and regenerate Albania.
The more citizens participate the elections, the sooner we will have opportunities for integration into Europe. Also, every immigrant who follows this communication can help us with their vote, not to vote for the Socialist Party as a subject but to vote for this government to give us the opportunity to make the difference we have dreamed for 27 years.”- Edi Rama said.
