The Ministry of Internal Affairs published that after yesterday’s events and riots, 83 people requested medical help in Skopje hospitals, out of which 54 citizens, 25 police officers ,3 MPs and 1 journalist.
Most of the injured have left the hospitals, but some are being held for more specialized treatment as a result of the serious injuries.
The Ministry warned that eight people were arrested, who have been indicted in the Macedonian Parliament and are being held at a police station. Minister of Internal Affairs of Macedonia, Agim Nuhiu, said that some of the leadership structures of the police department have not done their job properly and for this they will keep accountable.
