Serbia’s Prime Minister reacted to Haradinaj’s acquittal by the Court of Appeal in Colmar.
Vucic described court’s decision as scandalous, shameful and politically influenced. He also called on Serbia’s ambassador in France for consultations.
Serbia will make a rough protest against France. French court’s decision for Haradinaj is indecent and unfair.
“This issue isn’t as simple as a piece of cake, it’s about war crimes! Serbian citizens can keep their heads up, as we will continue to fight for justice. We will continue the battle for justice in order to protect the victims”.- Vucic said.
Additionally he highlighted that Serbia has submitted a full legal documentation for Haradinaj’s extradition.
The court released Haradinaj today after several plenary sessions, as he was arrested in January 4, after a warrant issued by Serbia.
