While attending the IMF and WB Spring Meetings, Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, held several important meetings with renowned international financial personalities.
Governor Sejko highlighted that the country’s economic growth is on a positive development trajectory.
Economic growth is expected to improve and the main economic balances will be strengthened over the next few years.
Regarding recent developments in consumer price performance, Sejko pointed out that inflation performance in current values is gradually turning to the target level.
The implementation of this plan helped in reducing the level of non-performing loans to around 18%.
