MEPs Fleckenstein and McAllister arrive in Tirana, just one day after the opposition blocked the streets for protesting.
They will hold a joint press declaration, where they will present the purpose of their visit in Tirana and the efforts to find a mutual point to resolve the situation.
Later on, they will attend meetings with the important political personalities in Albania. Initially, Fleckenstain and McAllister will meet the Prime Minister Edi Rama, together with the Parliament’speaker, Ilir Meta, at a hearing session to get to know the situation.
The next meeting will be with Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha.
MEPs will give political parties a draft deal as well as a solution to the country’s political impasse.
The meeting between Basha and David McAllister is confirmed, meanwhile there is uncertainty about the presence at this meeting of MEP Fleckenstein, Ora News reads.
