European Commission reacted following the threats made to Ambassador Romana Vlahutin.
EC stated that they do not tolerate threats which intimidate the EU ambassador in Albania and the delegation staff.
Additionally, in a statement for BIRN, the European Commission said they hope the people would be on the side of the ambassador in this battle and condemn hatred speech and efforts to frighten the senior diplomat.
These statements come after Albanian journalist, Kastriot Myftaraj, published on Facebook a post where he says , that “any Albanian who loves their homeland could kill Romana and this would be an anti-terrorist act.”
