Visas lifting by the Albanian government, to some former Soviet Union states etc., gave the first effect.
The first plane with 150 tourists from Belarus landed this morning at “Mother Teresa” airport.
In order to help tourists from former Soviet Union countries, Albanian tourism authorities have prepared materials in Russian language. Russian speaking marketplaces, including Russia itself, are a great potential that is coveted not only by a small country such as Albania but from all over the Balkans. With over 9.5 million people, Belarus is expected to significantly increase the number of tourists in the country.
Within the opening of the tourist season in Albania, government, a few weeks ago, approved the lifting of visas for states such as Russia, Saudi Arabia, Belarus, Georgia, Qatar, and Oman for the period 31 May to 15 November 2017.
