President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani, held today a meeting with the American Senator Bob Dole during his work visit in Washington.
The Head of State, appreciated and awarded the “National Flag Decoration” the Senator Robert Joseph Dole, in a special ceremony, with motivation:“Deep gratitude and high state appreciation of the valuable contribution and essential assistance provided for the promotion and resolution of the Albanian national affair as well as for the lobbying in the US Senate in the unwavering support for Kosovo’s freedom and independence”.
During his speech President Nishani, expressed pleasure and privilege that he had the opportunity to appreciate and honor the precious contributions and the essential support of the great nation-friend of Albania and Albanians, the unwavering supporters of our National cause and its resolution, Senator Robert (Bob) Dole.
“I would like to assure you that you and your unforgettable work will always be engraved in the historical memory and gratitude of the Albanian nation!” – President Nishani said.
Very excited, Senator Dole thanked President Nishani for this high appreciation saying that he is very pleased and glad to get this award.
