Transport and Infrastructure Minister Sokol Dervishaj and Director of the National Committee for Development and Reform He Li Feng signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two countries, focusing on further strengthening of cooperation in the fields of transport, infrastructure and financial aspects.
The news was announced by Dervishaj, which said that this is a sector that will be further developed due to the increased interest of the European Union and other interconnected actors of different economic regions.
The minister made this declarations in China where he was attending the high-level forum, “One Generation, One Way,” which was managed by China’s People’s Republic President Xi Jingpin.
Minister Dervishaj said that the relations between Albania and China are at a very good political level, but there is more to be done in strengthening the economic relations and in the development of infrastructure projects. The Memorandum of cooperation contains 7 points, such as the economic empowerment of the two countries, the strengthening of cooperation in aspects of infrastructure development, transport etc.
