Albanian national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti, Skanderbeg, will be soon the subject of a Hollywood production.
The initiator of this project is the former US congressman, of an Albanian origin, Joe DioGuardi.
DioGuardi told the media that there is almost a screenplay on the movie about the great Albanian hero while wants this project to be entrusted to the best Hollywood directors.
He added that this is his long-standing dream and that with this movie; he wants to show the Americans the real picture of Albanians.
“We will show to the America the real picture of Albanians. So far we have a short concept while a person is dealing with analyzing the life of Skanderbeg in the years 1440-1455, when Skanderbeg was at the peak of his career, ” DioGuardi tells.
“I’m not doing this for me, I’m doing it for all the Albanians,” he stated.
