Albanian police will take measures to guarantee the electoral process of June 25. 7000 police officers will provide order and security thus assuring a stable process. Minister of Internal Affairs Dritan Demiraj, announced this yesterday in a meeting with the head of OSCE Peter Tejler.
Demiraj added that the police officers have been specifically trained for their duties during the electoral process while there have been given special mobility to three local directors in the districts.
Ambassador Tejler also presented the role of foreign observers in the monitoring and reporting the process. He emphasized that monitoring in the last week will be more intensive and a day after the elections will come up with a preliminary report.
