EPP Women President Doris Pack considered it a “madness” what is happening in Albania, while reprimanding the silence of foreign diplomats over the political impasse.
“That what is currently happening in Albania is a madness. The country ‘s full of drugs, and it’s a risk not only for Albania’s to become a country of massive drug production and exportation, but it’s also dangerous for the Albanian children to grow up in this environment. The parliament and the administration are run by dozens of criminals , meanwhile, the professional people are dismissed from their jobs because of their political convictions”
Pack also welcomed the request for the situation to be resolved by the help of the European People’s Party and expressed the full confidence that Vice-President of the European Parliament, McAllister, is the right mediator for the solution of political crisis in Albania.
