European Union Ambassador Romana Vlahutin calls on citizens to refuse any kind of pressure on buying the vote in exchange of money or other favors.
During a meeting in Shkodra city, Vlahutin asked Albanian citizens to be alert about any element that attempts to abuse the electoral process.
“Refute any pressure on buying a vote with money or other favor. Citizens should be vigilant on any element that attempts to abuse the process. It is important to see if there have been abuses,” -Vlahutin said.
On the other hand, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) has launched an investigation over Vlahutin for buying a 1.6 million Euro villa in a residential center on the outskirts of the Albanian capital.
