President Nishani sent a congratulatory message to the European Council President, Donald Tusk, on the occasion of Europe Day.
Nishani expressed gratitude for the great support in the process of European integration of the country.
“I’d like to reiterate the deep gratitude for the great and endless support you have given to the European integration process of Albania and other countries of the Western Balkans region. As I have pointed out in our meetings with you, European integration remains the only alternative and the largest project of the Albanians, and I can assure you that we are determined to move forward in this regard both in terms of internal reforms also in the regional cooperation aspect.”
